When Oonagh O’Reilly and Marie-Claire McGreevy MCO Performance set about looking for an office space for their newly formed business – MCO Performance – they had specific criteria in mind.   • Please tell us a little about your company.

MCO Performance specialises in systemising commercial operations, motivation and mindset and creating high-performance cultures. This is delivered through a combination of consultancy, high-energy workshops, and keynotes to inspire positive action within your team.

The company was founded by Oonagh O’Reilly and Marie-Claire Mc Greevy who have more than 35 years’ combined specialist expertise in driving transformational change and growth working with Top 100 brands and high growth scale ups including NI Chamber, Irish Football Association and Texthelp. The pair have a stellar track record in exceeding challenging revenue targets and providing leadership to grow and develop high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams to deliver substantial commercial growth.

 

  • What made you choose Belfast City Centre as the location for your company?

Having a base that is so centrally located in Belfast but that has excellent transport links to Dublin from Grand Central Station and further afield via Belfast City Airport is ideal for us as it means we have more flexibility to better serve our international client base.

 

  • What was it that appealed to you specifically about The Kelvin?

The building itself is finished to a superb standard and the interior design choices have created an aesthetic we feel really aligns with the MCO Performance brand identity. The fact that The Kelvin is part of the wider Formation Works network is great too as it means we have a number of locations throughout Northern Ireland we can avail of depending on where we are delivering programmes.

 

  • Why did you choose a shared office space as opposed to a standalone office?

We’re currently a boutique agency with a team of three so having a shared office space with communal facilities affords us the opportunity to network and knowledge share with expert individuals and teams across a broad range of industries that we may not otherwise engage with as frequently.

 

  • How have you found The Kelvin team to deal with so far?

Amazing! Every single member of the team has been so knowledgeable and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure that the entire process from our first viewing to move in day was seamless. And it’s no different now we’re settled in, they have continued to help us and create a warm and welcoming space to host meetings and deliver programmes and workshops.
